Striped silk tie in an autumnal color combination. Ideal with a brown tweed jacket, OCBD shirt, cream wool/silk pocket square, navy/white braces and brown tassel loafers.

Macclesfield is usually considered as the capital of screen silk printing, but it's also possible to find a few outstanding woven fabrics there such as this. We call this special weave "English Grenadine", as the structure and appearance reminds of the Italian "garza grossa". However, the English version is a bit stronger (but not stiff) and the weave is a bit denser. The tie knot is superb and similar to normal grenadine. If you're into fabrics with a structure, this is definitely a great choice.
